Prosthetic Arm 1998

I created this device at Winkley Orthotics—a prosthetic manufacturing facility—using their materials and mechanisms. I advised Ms. Barkin against practicing with the arm until we shot the scene, capturing her first attempts at maneuvering it… Hilarity ensued.
